Gator Engineers teamed with Motorola to design smart phones geared for elderly customers. The phones will feature a more friendly keypad design, among other things, and could also be programmed to signal for help.

Giving Incentives

Our financial supporters are wonderful people. We believe this, and so does the state of Florida and companies around the country. Your gift entitles you to some Gator perks, and it might also bring in an extra donation though a gift matching program.

Donor Recognition

The University of Florida firmly believes in honoring your generosity. Every gift is appreciated, and every gift entitles the donor to recognition in one of the university's donor honor clubs. The UF Foundation has four recognition levels, including the UF President's Council, the Bequest Society, the 1853 Society and the Loyalty Fund.

State Matching Gift Programs

The State of Florida will match gifts of at least $100,000 with additional state funds. The more you give, the larger match the state offers. For example, under the provisions of Florida's Major Gifts Trust Fund, if you give an endowment of $100,000 for education, research, or library or art acquisitions, fellowships, etc., the state will give a 50% match, or another $50,000 in this case. Gifts of $2 million or more are matched dollar-for-dollar.
