Gator Engineers Get in Gear for $1 Million

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is a U.S. Department of Defense agency and is responsible for the development of new technology for use by the military. The DARPA Grand Challenge is issued to engineering colleges across the country to produce a autonomous vehicle that can be used in combat. Gator Engineering's Team Gator Nation competes this weekend in the contest's national qualifying rounds.
