Transfer Student Admissions

The Gator Engineering student body is a diverse bunch. Some have been at UF from the beginning, but many come to us from community colleges or other universities. Whatever your circumstances, we'll work with you to make the transition as smooth as possible.

  • Admissions Requirements We handle transfer student admissions directly. It's best to plan ahead to transfer into the College of Engineering, since you'll be required to have completed certain courses with certain grades before coming to UF.
  • Community College Study Plans Many of our undergraduates begin at a Florida community college, then transfer into UF and the Collge of Engineering once they've earned an A.A. degree. The process is simple, and we work with you to plan ahead to meet our entrance requirements.
