Degree Programs

Are you thinking about majoring in engineering? Ten of our 11 departments offer bachelor's degrees, so you're sure to find something that fits your interests and career goals. Once you've been accepted into the university, think about which engineering department you'd like to join. Contact an advisor from that department for information about specific admissions requirements and prerequisite courses.

  • Agricultural & Biological Engineering

    ABE offers three undergraduate majors: Agricultural & Biological Engineering, Agricultural Operations Management and Packaging Science. It also offers a variety of minors.

  • Biomedical Engineering

    Currently, BME does not have an undergraduate program. As the college's newest department, it hopes to develop opportunities for undergrads within the next several years. However, undergraduates are encouraged to explore BME's combined degree programs, designed to allow students to complete coursework for a bachelor's from another department while also working towards a master's in BME.

  • Chemical Engineering

    CHE offers one major for undergraduates: a bachelor of science in chemical engineering.

  • Civil & Coastal Engineering

    CCE has one major for undergraduates: civil engineering. Within the major, students choose one of six specialization tracks, including construction engineering, geotechnical engineering, hydrology and water resources engineering, structural engineering, transportation engineering and general civil engineering.

  • Computer & Information Science & Engineering

    CISE offers four degree programs for undergraduates: computer engineering, computer science, computer information science and digital arts and sciences. It also offers a minor in computer science, as well as a combined B.S./M.S. program and a sales engineering program.

  • Electrical & Computer Engineering

    There are two majors for undergraduates in ECE: a B.S. in electrical engineering, and a bachelor's in computer engineering. ECE also offers a combined B.S./M.S. program.

  • Environmental Engineering Sciences

    EES offers one undergraduate major: a bachelor's in environmental engineering. It also offers a combined B.S./M.S. program and a sales engineering certificate program.

  • Industrial Systems Engineering

    ISE has one degree for undergraduates: a B.S. in industrial systems engineering. It also offers a variety of combined and specialized degree programs.

  • Materials Science Engineering

    MSE offers a B.S. for undergraduates. Specialization areas include ceramics, electronic materials, metals and polymers. MSE also has a combined B.S./M.S. program and a minor in materials science.

  • Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering

    MAE has three degree options for undergraduates: a B.S. in aerospace engineering, a B.S. in mechanical engineering and a dual degree program in which students earn both a B.S. in aerospace engineering and a B.S. in mechanical engineering. MAE also offers a minor in biomechanics.
