She is a PhD Candidate&nbsp;in the Nuclear Engineering Program. She loves all things neutrinos and her research combines neutrinos with nuclear nonproliferation efforts. Outside the lab, he loves traveling, trying new foods, and gardening. He is currently a Ph.D. student in the Chemical Engineering program, where his research focuses on semiconductor device design and carrier transport in wide-bandgap materials. Outside of academics, Abdul is a committed mentor and advocate for STEM education. Her research focuses on the dura mater, where she investigates tissue engineering approaches and biomaterial design to improve graft performance and patient outcomes. In addition to her academic work, Abigail is passionate about fostering community and collaboration among graduate students. Her research focuses on tendon healing and pain, specifically exploring neuroimmune interactions. She currently serves as the Philanthropy Chair for the BME Graduate Student Council and as the Social Chair for the Engineering Graduate Student Council. Previously, she spent two years as the Professional Development Chair for BME GSC, where she organized workshops, mentorship programs, and student events.
