Abstract:
Peaceful productivity in academic writing is enhanced by two activities: daily writing and understanding form. In this seminar, we will work on the second activity, understanding the “template” of the classic research report. We will start by crafting research problem statements, consider definitions of academic style, then briefly examine how IMRD (Introduction → Method → Results → Discussion) texts are built, using examples from ISE.
